Instructions
Prepare the Avocados
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a large bowl. Do not use avocados that are too firm or too mushy for best results.
Mash the Avocado
Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired consistency. Leave it slightly chunky for texture rather than making it completely smooth.
Add Lime and Salt
Immediately stir in the fresh lime juice and kosher salt. The lime juice adds bright flavor and also helps slow the browning of the avocado.
Mix in Remaining Ingredients
Fold in the diced onion, jalapeno, tomato, garlic, cilantro, and cumin. Mix gently so the chunky texture of the guacamole is preserved.
Taste and Adjust
