Instructions
Preheat and Prep
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut broccoli into evenly sized florets so they roast at the same rate.
Season the Broccoli
Spread broccoli florets on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil add minced garlic salt and pepper then toss well. Arrange in a single layer with cut sides facing down.
First Roast
Roast the broccoli in the preheated oven for 18 minutes until the edges are browned and slightly crispy. Do not stir during this time to allow proper caramelization.
Add Parmesan
Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the broccoli. Return to the oven and roast for another 4 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
Finish and Serve
Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and scatter lemon zest over the top. Serve hot directly from the pan for best results.
